Rival Smart-Pot Crock-Pot Review

Hey and welcome to the site – DealScouter.com – honest user reviews and consumer buying guides! Today, I’m going to review the new Rival Smart Pot Crockpot and tell you exactly what the pros and cons are that are attributed to this particular model of slow cooker.

At first glance, I’ve always been a fan of Rival Crock Pots and Slow Cookers, so really…I went into this believing that there wasn’t much else to offer in the world of Rival Crock Pots. That being said, i was quite shocked when I really took a good look at the new Rival Smart Pot model, available wherever crock pots are sold.  If you’re not familiar with Rival’s history in cookware, they’re quite impressive. As we speak, the Rival brand controls around 80% of the slow cooker market at this time and offers up to 35 different models of Crock Pots at the time of writing this article.

The first thing anybody ever wants to know in these reviews is how to use it and how does it perform on first use. On first use, this Rival Crock pot fits snugly against the crockery on every side. I plugged it in and decided the only real way I could test it baby out was by making something in it, so I made a stew and set it to cook for 3 hours. 3 hours later, I returned to have my favorite stew waiting for me and it was as delicious as ever, so there’s no question that this model delivers all of the cooking power and the effectiveness that you’d expect from the Rival Crock Pot brand.

One of the really cool functions that Rival has implemented when developing this new Smart Pot Slow Cooker model is the auto warm smart setting. By using this setting, you can turn your crock pot on and have it start cooking your food, set the time for when it will be done and have the slow cooker automatically set itself to “warm” mode when your food is done. Let’s say that you’re heading to work and you will be off in 8 hours, but you really only need 6 hours to cook your roast – With this new feature, you can set it to work after 6 hours of cooking, therefore it’ll be ready for you when you get home. Overall, I’m very impressed with this model of the Rival Crock Pot brand.
