Hey there and thanks for vising out site! Today, I’m going to review the Toshiba Regza HDTV model number 46XV645U. I hope you enjoy it!

Toshiba Regza HDTV 46XV645U Review

First of all, the HD picture and the quality of the rendering of the images on the screen is pretty good for the price range, but it’s ultimately not going to be the best around. That being said, if you want to have a better picture quality than this, you’re probably going to need to spend a little more of your cash on an HDTV. That might be an option for you, and then again, it might not be. Overall, this particular Toshiba HDTV doesn’t have a really spectacular contrast between the lights and the dark colors on the picture as much as some of the other Samsung HDTVs and Sony HDTVs I’ve reviewed. Also, viewing at an angle is going to be a little bit of a problem for you with this Toshiba television as well.

Secondly, if you’re watching regular (non HD) programming, or a DvD with this Toshiba HDTV, you’re going to encounter a bit of fuzziness, which is normal, but you might also see it as a little bit of a downgrade from your non-hdtv, as this HDTV doesn’t really strike us as being the most compatible of them when it comes to standard programming or standard DVDs.

Thirdly, when checking Black Levels and the contrast ratio (the contrast between light and dark colors), with an HDMI cable, the black levels on the tv seem a bit saturated when looking directly on in front of this Toshiba HDTV, however that’s not really the case if you’re at a slight angle (but who wants to be forced to be at a slight angle?). The Black color contrast of this TV in general, was pretty lackluster.

Overall, in summary if you’re going to buy an HDTV, you’re probably not going to want to pick up this Toshiba. Even in a similar price range, you might find that a Samsung LCD TV or a Sony HDTV will have higher quality and you’ll overall be more happy with it as you go into the future. That’s all for this post! Thanks for stopping by and good luck buying your new HDTV!
